League Table Of The Top Districts In Great Britain For Home Improvement In 2015
 

With many households across the country in the process of a spring clean, it was Kensington & Chelsea that led all regions in Great Britain for home improvement planning applications in the last year.

The home improvement report, compiled by construction industry analysts Barbour ABI, shows that Kensington & Chelsea had 7.3 applications for every hundred homes in the area last year, compared to the average of two out of a hundred across Britain. Overall the South East and East of England completely dominated the top 25 districts for home improvement applications. The first Northern borough, Harrogate, isn’t found until number 74.

Scramble To Register Ahead Of FIT Show: Numbers ‘Through The Roof’
 

Spurred on by mounting ‘FIT Fever’ visitors have been registering in their droves to make sure they can skip the queues when The FIT Show opens its doors for the third outing of the popular window, door and conservatory industry trade show next week.

The numbers speak for themselves: Despite a confident market during 2014, figures for pre-registered visitors this year are a whopping 85% ahead following a surge in online registrations and even compared with the impressive numbers of visitors registering ahead of the launch show in 2013 44% more visitors have taken the time to book ahead of visiting.
